Terms of use

The calculator is an educational estimate, not a payroll system or legal advice.

Last updated October 28, 2026

By using OTCheck, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Educational estimates only

The calculator applies statutory minimum premiums to the inputs you provide. It is an estimate for general information. It is not a payroll computation, an official determination, or legal advice. Your actual pay may differ because of a collective bargaining agreement, company policy, employment contract, attendance record, payroll divisor, local holiday, or other facts the calculator does not know.

Do not rely on the calculator as the sole basis for paying or disputing wages. Verify with your employer’s payroll team, the latest DOLE issuances, or a qualified Philippine labor lawyer.

No legal or professional relationship

Using the site does not create a lawyer-client, accountant-client, or employer-employee relationship. We are not acting as your payroll provider or legal representative.

Accuracy and changes

We aim to keep the rules and examples accurate, but laws, proclamations, wage orders, and advisories change. We do not warrant that every page is current or error-free. The “Last reviewed” dates indicate when content was checked; they are not a guarantee that later changes are reflected.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OTCheck and its contributors are not liable for any loss, damage, underpayment, overpayment, or other harm arising from the use of, or reliance on, the site or its estimates. You are responsible for verifying any figure before using it for payroll, billing, or a legal claim.

Acceptable use

You may use the calculator for personal or internal business purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at a rate that degrades service, misrepresent it as an official government tool, or use it to commit fraud. If you embed or quote the site, attribute it and link to the source page.

Intellectual property

The site’s original text, design, and calculation code are protected by applicable law. Government legal texts and official issuances remain subject to their own terms; we link to the official sources rather than reproducing them in full.

Third-party links

The site may link to official sources or third-party services. We do not control third-party content or privacy practices. See the privacy policy for how analytics is handled.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute will be subject to the appropriate Philippine courts, unless a mandatory consumer protection rule provides otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site changes. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
